Glycerol and Polyglycerol Esters
Glycerol and polyglycerol esters are non-ionic surfactants derived from plant sources that can be designed to have a wide range of HLBs. Glycerol and polyglycerol esters with low HLBs are used as co-dispersants for oil-based pigment dispersions, while polyglycerol esters in the higher HLB range can replace polysorbates in both aqueous and oil-based dispersions.
